Someone has just told me that every time you sign on electronically, you are also signing for any unknown to you changes made to your CC.

This can’t be true, surely?

Sometimes when people sign on, the work coach will converse and agree a few things and these must be agreed by both coach and claimant before the new CC is signed. But remember too that a CC isn`t a statement of law, it is only an agreement. It even states this inside the paperwork.

So signing for having something `unknown` being added to your CC could be challenged as not having been agreed to. So it`s important that if any changes are to be made to a CC, that you are fully aware of them because this piece of paper is what matters most and ties your actions to it. So if a coach was to sneakily add or change something on it that you later noticed and just ignored it, this change could cause problems further down the line, so if your coach is going to change/add something to your CC, always ask to read it first before you sign it, although they usually give you the paper copy anyway, but don`t sign anything until you have read it and are happy with the changes. Especially if the changes were not your idea.

I imagine that most peoples CC will still say, I will log into UJM daily, So if they haven't changed that, and it's no longer working, certainly after June 17, all CC's are all invalid :woohoo:

Hence the rush for answers on the new Find a Job site and it`s terms. There will be a lot of work going on behind the scenes right now beavering away on Claimant Commitments and how hey are going to make the changes. Just as well we on this and other forums have been doing a lot of `beavering` ourselves! ;)
