Jeremy Corbyn’s speech at the 2018 Labour Party conference gives hope for change at the scandal-ridden Department for Work and Pensions (DWP). And change at the DWP, as too many disabled people in Britain know, couldn’t come soon enough.
A promise to “bring humanity back into the heart of our government”

Corbyn spoke out about the “hostile environment” that the ruling Conservative Party has created for disabled people through its changes at the DWP in recent years. And he revealed that:

"Hundreds of people from all over the country write to me about it every week."

One woman with progressive multiple sclerosis, for example, had her benefits stopped; and her husband was so distressed by the “very cruel” situation that he himself had to start taking anti-depressants.

We can only hope that Mr Corbyn does get into power soon and he excersizes these powers and to scrap benefit sanctions full stop. The man needs to get across his message BIG time in the press about this and if a general election is called (unlikely) but if it is, these are the things he should be puting out there because many people don`t vote because they are just fed up with the whole system, but they could make the change here if they DID vote for Labour and gave them enough to swing things in their favour this time. They blew it and allowed the Tories to get back in the last time with their cohorts the DUP. People not voting won`t change this government.

Here in the North West "Most" people are firmly Labour, and so I dont get into many Arguments,
But in Strong Areas where misguided brainwashed Fools think voting Tory is good, must be a nightmare;
I would be "Trying" to show these idiots the errors of there ways :whistle:
If you DONT Vote you have nothing to complain about, As you have Helped put the Tory's into power. :ohmy:
So come Election time its your Duty to Vote LABOUR, and get the Killer Tory Party OUT :)

If Labour doesn’t win the next election, God help us all. Seriously. A Brexit with the Tories still in power will be worse than anything we have ever seen in this country.
