I Reprint part of the Content Here; Makes interesting Reading !

Dear Department for Work and Pensions,

Having had to prove year after year my eligibility for ESA (support group) and PIP/DLA, and having had my benefits cancelled over and over again only to be reinstated several months later after I have repeatedly demonstrated the incompetence of DWP assessors and decision makers, I feel compelled to request that you provide me with ALL information you hold about me. This is particularly important now that I have had to answer false claims of having committed benefit fraud, most likely (virtual certainty) made by my ex wife.

The fact that DWP have not cooperated with the police in identifying the malicious reporter only adds to the information I seek from you today. My request therefore has several limbs.

1/ I request ALL information held by DWP pertaining to my condition(s), my claim and indeed myself personally, including and not limited to information submitted by third parties ie ATOS, healthcare professionals, and parties paid or unpaid for their information, said information being supportive or otherwise to that submitted by myself.

2/ I request information which makes absolutely clear the number of benefit fraud reports received nationally by DWP between January 2018 and August 2018 regarding persons receiving disability related benefits, categorised so as to show the number of reports made from phone numbers/computers within each of the local authority areas and identification of the total number (precise with no rounding) of reports made which led to sanction/caution/prosecution/recovery/termination of benefits as well as the number (precise with no rounding) of those which resulted in it being accepted that there was no wrongdoing by the benefit claimant.

3/ I request the date; time; method; and location of origin (to a minimum accuracy level of local authority), of all contact made to DWP via any means in which a representation is made to the effect that I may have given false or misleading information in support of my benefit claims.

4/ I request comment from DWP as to whether it considers it's practice of protecting the identity persons making false and/or malicious reports about claimants, to be

a) appropriate and proportionate to the stated aims and principles of the TFEU

b) commensurate with the protections afforded by the ECHR

c) most likely to have a positive or negative impact on the level of protection against harassment of vulnerable individuals.

d) supportive of a person's right to face their accuser.

5/ I request the grounds of justification upon which DWP bases its response to points 4 a) - d).

6/ I request the grounds of justification upon which DWP operates its policy of removing benefits prior to establishing facts, said practice being in blatant disregard of
a) the legal principle that a person is innocent until proven guilty per ECHR
and
b) the laws of natural justice generally and regarding specifically the issue of perceived bias.

I await your reply to each of the points raised.

Yours faithfully,
Colin Reed

Many ESA and PIP claimants will recognise this as part of their lives ongoing. It`s a circus that needs stopping. I take debilitating headaches and end up in bed for two, sometimes up to four days, yet I`m supposed to be able to find a job if I`m found `fit for work`. Welcome to the DWP world of illusion.

Latest information on civil penalties which "may be imposed by both DWP and Local Authorities, where an individual incurs a recoverable overpayment as a result of failing to provide accurate information as part of their benefit claim or in connection with an award of benefit, and have not taken reasonable steps to correct the error."

Last year 104,900 civil penalties of £50 were issued by the DWP:
