Apologies for the delay as I only got the email notification today and am just preparing to follow this event which apparently starts 4pm until 6pm today with reports to follow. I don't see any schedule breakdown for the parliament channel as yet but it is live so guess it may be on there. I don't have a Twitter account as simply don't even have enough time or energy to check emails everyday never mind that and facebook on top. It is on Mind's Twitter and Instagram channels for those that have those outlets.

I downsized my social media intake plus quit gaming as a new year resolution just over 12 months ago as part of a recovery plan and thankfully it has helped enormously. Anyway if I find any relevant links or info will add in due course. Here is Mind's video to accompany the campaign where they will be talking to some MPs.

Local Government Finance Motion (Brokenshire, Housing, Communities and Local Govt Sec) debate has just started so am assuming the campaign is going to relate directly and has been planned to coincide hence the time given relayed in my original post above. I didn't have Edit button to add this [but it was present for this post].

Just tuned in (channel 232) Verc and don`t see anything named in the menu per mental health but J.Brokenshire is on his feet as I type. Will listen in. Not sure it willallbe the usual `lip service` as usual though....

They have only just touched on rough sleeping right now (from the conservative side) so I am going to give it another 15 minutes or so then check for the reports feeding back from Mind later.

Usual lip service dead right comply. Increase in funding from govt, decrease in real terms from the opposition.

Yes, verbal ping pong from those who like to discuss these things but the reality is, mental health and DWP are married together, yet this government are causing untold stress and anxieties that leads to mental health problems. I`m seeing a mental health nurse soon and never in my entire LIFE did I ever think I would be asking to see one. :( But I`m looking at it as more of a chat than someone who would need ongoing sessions. Sometimes you just need someone to talk to.

Just to update. I have heard nothing more from Mind on this campaign. There is no addition beyond the video post on their facebook page but I don't have Twitter so there could be something on there about what was said and any positives from MPs. They had another national day yesterday and I am beginning to wonder if this is not becoming overkill on quantity whilst basically little is changing where it counts and all we may get is a level of desensitization. It isn't just stigma about mental illness which needs to change but govt legislation. I got an email from Mind a couple of weeks back about me apparently having signed up too be some kind of campaigner which I don't recall doing and wonder is this is simply by default through being registered with them for some years. There seems to be a grey area between service users and supporters. The email a few days ago which prompted this thread was a follow up, the first one but nothing about the Time to Talk event yesterday. I think I need to contact them.
