82 Years ago on November 2nd 1936 (No thats Not a Misprint) if you Lived in London, and was a handful of Households with a TV Set,
You could have watched the Start of Regular Television Broadcasting from BBC-TV;
All 2 Hours a Day !, 6 Days a week [ No Programmes on Sundays ! ]
Shut down completely 1939-1946 Due to WW-2.
It was 1949 Before BBC-TV Reached Birmingham & The Midlands, and 1951 Till it got to Liverpool/Manchester/Leeds.
But still few Homes had a TV set, Until the Coronation in 1953.
ITV the 2nd Channel started in 1955 .................................
We have sure come a very long way since those early Days; Now we just take TV for Granted, :woohoo:
