Hi everyone at Welfare Central long time no speak.

I was wondering if anyone could possibly help me out by referring me or linking to any information in regards to the court ruling in respect to JSA Regulations 1996 Article 18 regarding actively seeking work conditionality.
I seemed to recall the joke centre sanctioning someone for not fulfilling all points on a claimant commitment but was ruled unlawful by a court judge due to the fact the claimant had fulfilled article 18 conditionality (more than two things per week to be considered actively seeking work)
Any assistance rendered is greatly appreciated thank you.

regards,
Redacted.

P.S I was Redacted from the old forums if anyone remembers me from there?

Hi, Redacted

I suspect you mean the Commissioner Williams decision HERE concerning reg.18 of the 1996 Regs and Section 1, Jobseekers Act 1995.

Thanks Comply, you remember that challenge I had against the work programme about submitting C.V's? I took that through both the I.C.E and parliamentary ombudsman like the rats they are, they scurried to the side of the work programme to support their unlawful mandates, the I.C.E even had the gall to claim I was not meeting my claimant commitment or some such nonsense, I asked them to back their statement in evidence and I still refused to submit personal private data and nothing came of it. However next time (if) being more wiser it'll be straight to the ICO who are absolutely the correct department to slap down uppity work programme providers in respect to private data, if I'd have only known at the time.
