I don`t know if it`s fear that makes someone conform to what they are told/trained to do because they got into that job when it wasn`t as brutal as it is now, but because they don`t have other choices to change jobs, they feel they have no choice other than to toe the party line and do as others do. Maybe they just don`t know how to apply their work in a manner that might draw attention on themselves if they dare to change the format? I often see other work coaches sitting near to mine, who could well be there to listen in on their conversation and in turn, said work coach can`t be complacent in what they say. Who knows....


Just to back this up. I`ve spoken to a work coach over the phone and they couldn`t have been nicer.

A famous physiologist Dr Philip Zimbardo did an interesting experiment on this very subject using the prison guards/inmates model
