The problem for Labour is those that need them in power have had the right to vote taken away from them by stealth means. These are people who are homeless, people with debt who are afraid to register to vote because they would be hounded by bailiffs, prisoners, and the way the system is rigged .
We are talking millions.
Another point is that the young voter who leaves school at 16 and goes into work pays taxes and NI cannot vote. Again a rigged system.
If this latter group were allowed to vote then the nasty tories would never be seen again .
Now you cant tell me labour dont know this and they have had years in power to give the vote to all these groups.
You have a nasty tory government who suppress the weak vulnerable and working class to a point they are filled with apathy and feel worthless with feelings that all the parties are same and again these people dont vote.
The nasty tories would get taxis to get dying and sick tory voters from hospital to the polling station for their vote.
There are millions of voters that would vote labour but cant.
