MILLIONS of overqualified workers are stuck in jobs where their skills aren’t being used — threatening years of lost productivity and falling wages.
The Institute For Public Policy Research (IPPR) warned yesterday that over-educated workers had swelled to 5.1 million workers — rising 1.9 million since 2006.
The IPPR said the rates of “over-educated” women had increased twice as quickly compared with men.
It is assumed that demand for skilled workers is rising, but IPPR research suggests that this is only occurring in certain sectors, masking a growing problem of workers in jobs where their skills are not being used.

And yet we keep hearing on the news of the skill's shortage in this country
Do not let the behaviour of others destroy your inner peace.

It is not so much a skill shortage, in this case.
It is a case of useless job created for the convenience of the elites.
People that is put to work in positions where their skills are disadvantageous. Where one is paid to be inefficient and a dullard.
Our education system has been following suit. It produces graduates that have learned how to work exams but have no interest in developing or deepening their skills. One of the reason why this Country has relatively few emigrants, on the continents, when confronted with a real economy (opposite to the renter one, predominant in England) simply locals are better.

To eliminate unemployment one needs only to eliminate the unemployed
