Heard about this earlier. It was on the Victoria Derbyshire show on BBC2. They are implementing a system that is failing people, yet the government still wear their blinkers and say it`s working. These individuals need to test run their own system and live on it for a year. That`s if they even got past the online application first, that is...

What's surprising?
Every time I stem into a JCP, I enter a parallel universe.
One in which there are plenty jobs, all remunerative.
One in which an over 60 has the same chance in society as 24 year old.
One in which it only a bad attitude, a moral failure or/and e slightly different formatted CV that prevent one from becoming a productive member of society.
One in which poverty is due to personal financial bad management.

A level of delusion, that when viewed rationally, is not very dissimilar from one that generate pogroms.

It is only our learned desensitisation, that make it looking so normal.

To eliminate unemployment one needs only to eliminate the unemployed

Desensitized is exactly what most of us are.I have spoke to people on various courses who are experiencing the benefits system for the first time after having worked for many decades, they can't believe the pointless things they get asked to do or how they are treated.
