... and you can still login and make applications there. Hope it isn't a trap.

The UJM home page says:

"You can save information until 17 June 2018 from your Universal Jobmatch account."

It doesn't say you should stop using it then.

Hmm, I had a quick look and you're right it is still there. But I see there were very few jobs posted the past few weeks, in fact nothing the past 2.

Maybe it's still open for people to record jobsearch activities if they wish, but as I told my roach last time I won't be doing that again, plus I deleted my UJM account about a week ago. I did say in another thread I wouldn't be surprised if the site is still "active" past the supposedly closing down of.

Tarquin, out of interest when you say you `deleted` your UJM account, I just removed/deleted my CV and Cover letter from my account and then deleted it from my favourites list on my laptop. Should I have deleted it in another way? I still have the username/password for the government gateway account required to open a UJM account but when you try to use these log in details to get into a GG account, it now asks for a mobile number? See attached snip:

This isn`t my UJM account (which uses the same username/password) it`s the actual government gateway account for anyone who holds their account details for UJM and wants to check their national insurance credits etc.....but unless we now provide an extra element to this account, it won`t allow us access. I`m wondering if these GG account will be replaced with Government Verify anyway in the not so distant future? Any thoughts?

No need to worry about UJM anymore, CoD, the place has finally gone.

I did remove all personal details (not that I had a lot on the site) before I deleted my account. You had to click on the help/contact us icon at the bottom and choose the option to delete account and reason why, then it'd be gone within 48 hours.

I never did that. Does it matter though? The site is gone so I take it DWP will have deleted all user details held within the site? I completely forgot about being able to delete the account that way. Wish I`d remembered though.

I just deleted CVs and cover letters. Also removed all the skills for job search and made sure the tick box for coached to view was blank.
