Some useful links on here for anyone just wanting a read:
scottishunemployedworkers.net/the-work-programme-a-survival-guide/

Some employability has been devolved to Scotland regarding future work programmes, but it is still unclear what those will be. We know there will be a new `Work & Health` programme coming soon which has been announced, but little about what it`s about and who will be cherry picked to attend. Possibly aimed at the disabled, those with long standing health conditions and long term unemployed. So make sure you know your position where signing any forms (data protection act) and if you can justify reasons for not being mandated to such a programme, although I believe this would be in the form of good medical evidence and submitting information from your GP or other source to beck you up.

Cross referencing DWP guidance with Work Programme guidance can sometimes show there are loopholes. So start by looking at both and noting anything you feel would significantly help you in any argument.
